The Only Girl in the Room is an inspirational STEM picture book that encourages young readers - especially girls - to see themselves as future leaders in cybersecurity.
Through Cipher's story, children discover the power of representation, the importance of believing in themselves, and how seeing someone like you can change what you believe is possible.
Meet Jennifer
As a former Chief Information Security Officer recognized by Forbes and a member of United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s Women’s Leadership Council I have spent my career protecting organizations from cyber threats while mentoring the next generation of women in technology.
Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the importance of helping young girls believe they belong in STEM fields.
The Only Girl In The Room was written to spark that belief at an early age that
GIRLS belong in cybersecurity!
